The Ogallala Police Department needs your help in solving
a recent act of vandalism.
On November 28th Officers
were called to US Recycling. Officer
learned that overnight unknown subjects had caused damage to the windshields on
6 different pieces of equipment belonging to US Recycling with a BB gun. Damages were estimated at over $1,000.
The
Ogallala Police Department needs your help in solving a theft from a local
business.
During the first week in October
unknown persons entered Pamida and stole several digital cameras and a
camcorder from the electronics department.
The value of the electronics was over $1,000.
In the month of October, Crime Stoppers paid
out $850 in rewards.
The Keith County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in
solving some recent Thefts. During the first weekend in
September the Keith County Sheriff’s Office responded to several homes south of
Ogallala for Thefts from Vehicles.
Unknown suspects gained entry into several unlocked cars and stole purses,
electronics, cell phones and firearms.
The value of the stolen items was over $10,000.00
The Ogallala Police department
needs your help in solving a recent Burglary to a business. On September 1st Officers
responded to the restaurant at Travel Centers of America. Officers learned that unknown suspect broke
into the restaurant while it was closed and forced entry into the drop
safe. The suspect stole cash from the safe.
During the Months of June and
July Keith County has seen an increase in thefts from boats at the lake. Among
the items stolen were boat motors, trolling motors and fish finders.
During the thefts several boats were also damaged. The value of the
stolen property is well over $5,000.00.
Sometime around the date of April
16th a post hole auger attachment to a skid steer was discovered
missing from Windy Acre Electric near Earlywine trailer court The attachment was made by BobCat and was
white and yellow in color. The cost of
the stolen auger is over $3000.
On April 23rd
Officers took a report of a theft from Kenfield Electric in the 600 block of
East 1st. Sometime over the
weekend of April 20th unknown persons scaled the fence behind the
business and stole several spools of copper wire. The Loss was estimated at around $500.00
On Thursday, 021612, at about 2138 hours Officers were called to the Moose Lodge parking lot for a 60 year old male with serious injuries. It is unknown how the subject was injured. During the month of November Officers responded to 5 complaints of thefts from vehicles. Unknown persons entered vehicles while they were parked at local businesses and while parked on the street. Some of the stolen items included purses, wallets, jewelry, medications, a GPS unit and an electronic range finder. The value of the stolen items was well over $1,000.00. Crimestoppers wants to remind citizens during the holiday season to lock your vehicles and to not leave your valuables in plain sight.
The Ogallala Police Department needs your help in solving
a Theft.
Sometime around the date of
October 7th 2011 multiple power tools were discovered missing from a
residence in the 200 block of West E Street.
The missing tools were a Skil Brand belt sander and Sawsall. The value of the tools is about $300.
On October 7th
Deputies took a report of a prior burglary.
Sometime in the previous few months unknown persons broke into #312
Peterson #2 near Lewellen. Once inside
the suspects ransacked the residence and stole a .22 Caliber JC Higgins
revolver and a Hitachi brand nail gun. Estimated cost of the items was $650.
The Keith County Sherriff’s Office needs your help in
solving a theft from the county. Sometime between the end of irrigation
season last September and July of 2011, unknown persons stole about 50 lengths
of 30 foot aluminum irrigation pipe from the area of mile marker 148 on Hwy 30,
East of Paxton. The value of the pipe is estimated to be about $4500.
The Keith County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in solving a recent Burglary in Paxton.
During the months of May and June unknown suspects broke into the broke into the concession stand at the ball field in Paxton. Suspects damaged the building and then stole candy and pop. The value of the damage property and stolen items was over $500. The concession stand has been broken into 4 times in the past 2 months.
